Within a 2-minute walk from Aldgate East tube station and a 15-minute stroll to Tower Bridge, the hotel is ideally placed for exploring London's top attractions.
The hotel sits in a quiet, safe residential area with plenty of restaurants, pubs, and supermarkets within a few minutes' walk. Aldgate East station (District and Hammersmith & City lines) provides direct connections to central London, while Aldgate station and Liverpool Street are also nearby. The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and St Katharine Docks are easily reached on foot. However, there is no on-site parking, so using public transport is recommended.

Accommodation

Rooms are clean and functional, with comfortable Premier Inn beds, air conditioning, and private bathrooms. Family rooms feature a double and two single beds.
Room sizes vary, with family rooms offering ample space for four. All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, a flat-screen TV, ironing equipment, and a hairdryer. Windows are sealed and cannot be opened, but air conditioning is effective and free. Some rooms may show signs of wear, and maintenance issues such as broken fixtures or damp smells have been noted. For a quieter stay, choose a room on a higher floor or facing the rear. Housekeeping is not automatic; you must request it at reception.

Breakfast is available for an additional charge of £10 per adult, with a full English and continental buffet. The on-site Bar+Block restaurant serves steaks, burgers, and bar food.
Breakfast includes hot items, cereals, pastries, fruit, and drinks. Children under 16 eat free with a paying adult. During peak times, queues can be long, so arriving early is advisable. The Bar+Block restaurant is open for both breakfast and evening meals. While the food quality can be inconsistent, many find the burgers and steaks enjoyable. Numerous other dining options are within a short walk, including Pizza Union and Thyme Bar and Grill.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Luggage storage is offered for a charitable donation, and the 24-hour front desk can assist with early check-in or late checkout requests.
Parking is not available. The hotel has three lifts, but often only one is operational, causing delays. Self-check-in kiosks are sometimes out of order.
