HOTEL LILY, London

The hotel sits opposite Earl's Court Exhibition Centre and is within easy walking distance of Stamford Bridge (Chelsea FC, 650 m), Olympia Exhibition Centre (2 km), and Queen's Club Gardens (1 km). Wimbledon Tennis Club is 7 km away. A bus stop (route 74) is directly outside the hotel, and several pubs, restaurants, and takeaways are within a 5-minute walk. The neighbourhood is residential and generally quiet, though rooms on the main road can experience traffic noise with older windows. For airport access, the Piccadilly Line runs from Earl's Court to Heathrow; there is no hotel shuttle service.

Rooms are compact and basic in style, with laminate flooring, heating, and free Wi-Fi. Many rooms include a bath. Some rooms have good natural light, while others can feel dark due to limited windows or single-pane glazing. Road-facing rooms can be noisy, and windows may not close fully or lock securely. Mattresses vary: some are comfortable, others reported as worn or with protruding springs. Wardrobes and storage are minimal. There are no fridges, irons, or safes in rooms (irons can be requested from reception). The hotel has no air conditioning; relying on open windows for airflow can increase street noise. Lifts are available but may not serve all floors and have been reported as occasionally unreliable. The property is older and shows signs of wear; cleanliness standards have been inconsistent. For wheelchair users, a twin or triple room may accommodate a wheelchair, but no adapted bathrooms are available.

Since no dining facilities exist at the property, all meals must be obtained outside the hotel. The surrounding area offers a good selection of pubs, takeaways, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, including The Hoarder, Woodsman, and Lily Tandoori. Several cafés such as Stella Coffee are within 0.5 km. For self-catering, there are shops nearby, but rooms do not have kitchenettes or refrigerators. The 24-hour front desk can assist with local recommendations.
