QUALITY INN DUBUQUE ON HWY 20, Dubuque

The hotel sits on a busy thoroughfare with easy highway access. It is 7 km from Diamond Jo Casino and the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, and 17 km from Dubuque Regional Airport. Nearby dining and shopping are within a 3 to 6 km drive, including Hy-Vee, Dubuque Mining Company, Pretzel Maker, Applebee's, and Carlos O'kelly's. The Galena Historic District is 31 km away, and J Dubuque Monument is 28 km. Since no airport shuttle is available, free on-site parking makes driving the most convenient option. The area is generally quiet, though rooms facing the highway may experience some traffic noise.

All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, and a work desk. Bed sizes include king, double, and two-double options. Each room has a cable TV, hairdryer, microwave, fridge, tea/coffee maker, and a personal safe. Recent upgrades have improved overall comfort, though some rooms show wear. Shared bathrooms are standard for all room types; no private bathrooms are available. Rooms on higher floors tend to be quieter, while those near common areas may experience more hallway noise. The property is non-smoking, but smoke odor can occasionally be present. Spacious layouts are common, especially in suites. No balconies are offered.

The indoor pool is available throughout the year but is small and not designed for swimming laps. Water temperature can be cool, so it is best suited for a quick dip or children's play. There is no spa, gym, sauna, or additional recreational facilities. The shared lounge/TV area provides a casual indoor space for relaxation.

WiFi is free in all areas; coverage is generally reliable. Parking is free on site with no reservation required, and accessible parking spaces are available. The 24-hour front desk staff can assist with express check-in/out and provide invoices. The business centre offers free fax and photocopying. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and in-room safes. Pets are allowed but require a refundable deposit and a nightly fee; rooms with pets do not receive daily housekeeping. A lift serves all floors, and accessible parking is provided. No airport shuttle, laundry, or luggage storage services are confirmed.
