The hotel sits directly adjacent to Cross Creek Mall, placing a wide variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment within a short walk. Starbucks is 0.5 km away, and several chain restaurants such as Smokey Bones, Panda Express, and Chick-fil-A are within 0.5 km. Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty) is a short drive, and Pope Air Force Base, Cape Fear Valley Health System, Fayetteville Regional Airport, and the Crown Coliseum and Expo Center are all easily accessible. The Fayetteville Historic Marketplace District is also nearby. The location is best suited for travelers with a car, though the mall and nearby eateries are walkable. The third floor offers more secure access than the first two floors.

Rooms are 100% smoke-free and feature air conditioning, heating, a desk with USB charging stations, and tea and coffee making facilities. First-floor rooms have a door to the outdoor garden area. The property offers double rooms (1 bed) and quadruple rooms (2 beds). Bedding comfort is generally satisfactory, though some beds may squeak with movement. Cleanliness is a recurring topic; a significant portion of reports indicate issues with floors, bathrooms, and overall room condition. Travelers requiring consistently high standards of housekeeping may want to consider alternatives or inspect the room upon arrival. The third floor hallway is secured with access control, providing a more controlled environment.

The breakfast includes waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit (individually wrapped), and coffee or tea. While the selection is basic, it is included in the room rate. The breakfast area can experience periods of low restocking and may not offer plates or utensils at all times. For a fuller meal, numerous dining options are within walking distance through the mall and surrounding area, including Panda Express, Longhorn Steakhouse, Red Robin, and Starbucks.

Parking is free for all vehicle types, including big rigs, and accessible parking is available. The 24-hour front desk can assist with key card access and safety deposit boxes. A business center with fax/photocopying is available at no charge. Laundry services are offered for an additional fee. Daily housekeeping is provided, but servicing is not automatic and must be requested. The elevator is located outside and may not always be operational. First-floor rooms are available on request. Wheelchair-accessible rooms feature grab rails, raised toilets, and lowered bathroom sinks. Pets (dogs only, 16 kg or less) are allowed with a $75 non-refundable fee.
