The property is positioned just off Highway 75 (N. Central Expressway), providing quick access to downtown Dallas and the American Airlines Center (a short drive away). The Dallas Zoo is an 11-minute drive, and Hank Haney Golf Ranch is 4 minutes by car. Baylor University Medical Center and Dallas Love Field Airport are both within 8 km. The surrounding area includes numerous dining options within walking distance - Jack in the Box (0.5 km), Salum, Denny's, and several others within 0.5 km - plus a supermarket and laundromat. An on-site Indian restaurant (Elephant Grill) is noted as a good option. Multiple street access points make it easy to enter and exit the property without u-turns.

Room types include double, family, triple, and suites. All rooms come with a refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee maker, seating area, large work desk, and a safety deposit box. Select suites feature a spa bath. The property does not have rooms with a private bathroom - bathrooms are en-suite but not fully private. Rooms are described as spacious and functional, though some are dated with potential musty smells or noise from the highway. A coat rack is provided instead of a closet. For quieter stays, choose a top-floor room away from the road. Mobility-impaired guests should request a ground-floor room as there is no elevator and outside stairs have widely spaced, narrow steps.

A free continental breakfast is available each morning, featuring self-made waffles, breads and bagels for toasting, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, and hot cocoa. The selection is limited - mostly carbohydrates with no protein options. Supplies are replenished sporadically, so arriving early gives the best choice. The on-site Indian restaurant, Elephant Grill, is open until around 22:00 and is recommended by many. The former Fine Diner restaurant on the property is no longer operating. Several fast-food and casual dining options are within a short walk (Jack in the Box, Denny's, Salum), and more varied restaurants are within a short drive.

The outdoor swimming pool is open from around March through October, weather permitting. The pool area is fenced for safety and provides sun loungers, beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels. The gym is currently out of service and is being used as storage - it is not available for use. There is no spa or wellness centre on the property.

Free on-site public parking is available with no reservation needed, and the lot has two entrances for easy access. Wi-Fi is free in all areas.
