RAMADA BY WYNDHAM BROOKLYN EMPIRE BLVD, New York

The hotel is located 4 km from Barclays Center, 7 km from Brooklyn Bridge, and 13 km from JFK Airport. Subway stations within a 10-minute walk provide direct routes to Manhattan. While the immediate area includes some industrial buildings and storage facilities, Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum are within walking distance. Several restaurants and cafes are within 0.5 km. The neighborhood can feel less safe after dark, and the hotel lacks key-card access for the building or elevator, allowing anyone to enter.

Accommodation options include double rooms with either one or two beds. All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Amenities include a coffee machine, refrigerator, and work desk. Room size is on the smaller side, with basic but often clean furnishings. The only lighting is a harsh overhead fixture or a dim bed-board light, with no bedside or desk lamp. Noise from corridors, adjacent rooms, slamming doors, and street traffic is a consistent issue due to minimal soundproofing. Some rooms may retain smoke odors. The heating unit can be noisy. For light sleepers, earplugs and a room away from the lobby are strongly recommended.

Breakfast includes fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, and other basic continental items. The breakfast area is compact and can become crowded during peak times, with limited seating that may require waiting or standing. While some find the breakfast adequate, the selection is focused on sweet items and lacks savory options such as cheese or meats. Coffee quality has been noted as poor. The hotel has vending machines for drinks and snacks. Several restaurants, including Garden Restaurant, Balboa Restaurant, and Billy's Pizza & Pasta, are within a short walk.

There are no wellness or leisure facilities on the property. Guests seeking recreation can visit Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum, both within walking distance.
