RAMADA LIMITED SOUTH WINDSOR, Windsor

The hotel sits on the outskirts of Windsor, convenient for airport transit and close to several essential retailers and dining options within a 0.3-1 km walk, including Johnson's Restaurant (0.5 km) and McDonald's (1 km). Out of the city centre, the property requires a bus journey to reach downtown Windsor. Ample free on-site parking makes car travel practical, and the location offers quiet surroundings, particularly suitable for a rest stop or budget sleepover.

The accommodation comprises rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, and cable/satellite television. In-room amenities also feature a microwave, refrigerator, and tea/coffee facilities (though no electric kettle). Some rooms feature a jacuzzi tub beside the bed. Room quality is inconsistent: while many rooms are reported as clean, comfortable, and modern, others may present broken bathroom tiles, musty odours, stained bedding, or malfunctioning appliances (air conditioning or mini-fridge). Road-facing rooms may experience some noise. Availability of non-smoking rooms and facilities for disabled guests are confirmed.

Breakfast is included in the stay and is a basic continental offering, typically comprising cereal, bagels, or muffins, with no eggs, bacon, or other hot dishes. The breakfast is best suited as a light start to the day; for a fuller meal, several restaurants and fast-food outlets are within walking distance (0.3-1 km), including Johnson's Restaurant, Kelseys Original Roadhouse, and McDonald's. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is also available on site.

Wellness facilities include a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (free of charge) and a fitness centre. The pool operates only during warmer months, and no spa or sauna is available. The leisure amenities are practical for a casual dip or a quick workout, consistent with the hotel's budget-focused positioning.

Services include a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping (free), and a vending machine for drinks and snacks. Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. Additional practical services are fax/photocopying. The front desk staff are noted for their friendliness and efficiency during daytime hours, though overnight check-in can be a challenging experience. The property also offers free on-site parking with no reservation needed, ample for guest vehicles.
