RE DI ROMA - CHARME APARTMENT, Rome

Set in a quiet, residential neighborhood with a lively square below featuring kiosks and ice skating, this location is both practical and pleasant. The Colosseum and Domus Aurea are a 20-minute walk away, while San Giovanni Metro Station is also a short stroll. Rome Ciampino Airport is 11 km away, reachable in about 40 minutes by bus and metro. The area is very walkable, with numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and shops within a 5-minute radius. Metro line A runs the length of Rome, and buses 81 and 87 connect to major sights. The area feels safe even in the evening, and the park nearby adds to the convenience.

Accommodation options include a unit with one separate bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room, sleeping up to four. The layout includes a door between the bedroom and living area. The bathroom is shared (with a shower) and is described as very small, with a shower that has inconsistent hot water and a drain that may block. The bed has been noted as uncomfortable due to a sagging mattress, and the sofa bed is basic. The apartment feels spacious for two but tight for four. Cleanliness at check-in can be an issue - dusty floors, stained linens, and leftover debris have been reported. The apartment has parquet floors, a wardrobe, air conditioning (though only in the main bedroom, making the living area hot), and heating. The balcony overlooks a quiet courtyard. Snagging issues include broken cupboard doors, frayed electrical wires, and a door that sticks.

The apartment does not feature a pool, spa, gym, or similar leisure amenities. The quiet neighborhood and nearby park offer recreational walks, while the close proximity to metro and buses makes it easy to explore Rome's cultural attractions. For leisure, guests can use the smart TV for streaming or sit on the balcony. A barber/beauty shop is located on site.
