RELAIS NAZIONALE 18, Rome

The location offers direct bus routes along Via Nazionale and quick access to Termini's metro and train connections. The Colosseum and Imperial Fora are 1.6km away, and the Pantheon is 1.7km. Several restaurants, a pub, and a gelateria are within 0.3km. While the street is a major traffic artery, the convenience for exploring central Rome on foot or by public transport is a clear advantage. The property also provides city views over the rooftops. Traffic noise is continuous, which may affect rooms facing the street.

Room sizes vary; some units are compact with limited storage. Bathroom doors are made of frosted glass that does not close fully, reducing privacy. Each room has a minibar, tea/coffee maker, and flat-screen TV. Beds are generally comfortable, though some have firm mattresses. Family rooms are available. Selected rooms include a hot tub at no extra charge. Daily cleaning is provided; bathroom finishes may show signs of use. Windows offer limited sound insulation against street noise.

The breakfast voucher covers one meal per person per day at the pub on the ground floor. Typical items include bacon, eggs, toast, croissant, orange juice, and coffee or tea. The pub opens at 09:00; no earlier breakfast is available. The voucher was previously valid at two cafés, but at present only the pub partnership remains active. The surrounding street has several other restaurants, a gelateria, and a pub for additional dining options.

The hot tub is included in select rooms as a distinctive feature. However, water pressure can be low, and the water may take significant time to heat, limiting the practicality of using the hot tub for a full soak. The property does not have a gym or pool; on-site leisure is limited to the hot tub and the downstairs pub with its bar/lounge area.

Check-in is self-service via a code provided on arrival day; there is no receptionist on site. Luggage storage is possible by arrangement but is unattended. The property has no safe for valuables. CCTV cameras are installed but may not always be active. Payment can be made by Visa, Maestro, or MasterCard. An invoice is provided for business travellers. Pets are not allowed. Building security includes key access (or code for some rooms), a security alarm, and fire extinguishers.
