Shinjuku Sky Hostel is situated immediately next to Nakai Station, providing a direct train connection to Shinjuku that takes just a few minutes. Two major metro lines serve the area, making travel across Tokyo efficient. Haneda Airport is a 33-minute drive or 1 hour 10 minutes by train; Narita Airport is about one and a half hours by rail. The immediate neighbourhood is quiet and residential, with multiple restaurants, convenience stores (7-Eleven and Lawson), and a small local bar scene all within a 5-minute walk. There is no on-site parking, and bicycles can be stored in a nearby area if arranged with the front desk.

Room types include single, double, twin, triple, quadruple and family rooms, plus dormitory beds. Rooms on the second floor require stairs as there is no elevator. Some rooms overlook a quiet street, though the train line is audible, especially in the early morning and late evening.
