RESIDENCE CLIGNANCOURT, Paris

The property sits just off Boulevard de Rochechouart, a lively multicultural area with a dense urban feel. The metro station provides direct routes to Les Halles and Notre-Dame, while Gare du Nord is 10-15 minutes on foot, making it convenient for Eurostar arrivals. The immediate streets are lined with budget restaurants, supermarkets (including an ALDI), and shops. The neighbourhood is energetic and busy at all hours, with some areas feeling less secure late at night-care is advised when returning after dark. Street noise from traffic and the restaurant below can be audible, especially in front-facing apartments.

Each apartment comes with a private bathroom with a shower, a seating area with a sofa (often a sofa bed), an LCD TV with satellite channels, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchenette is equipped with a stovetop, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, and cookware. Room sizes are small-comfortable for 2 adults but tight for 3 or more, with limited wardrobe and storage space. Some attic apartments have sloped ceilings and a skylight as the only window. Soundproofing is minimal; noise from neighbouring apartments and the street can carry. Multiple units have been reported as having poor natural light, no curtains, and mould issues in the bathroom. All apartments are accessed via steep, narrow stairs without a lift, which can be challenging with heavy luggage.

Leisure is limited to the surrounding neighbourhood. Sacré-Cœur Basilica and the Montmartre hilltop gardens are a 5-10 minute walk, offering panoramic city views and outdoor walking routes. Moulin Rouge is about 10 minutes away on foot. The area has a vibrant street atmosphere with many casual bars and cafés, but no on-site wellness or sports provision.

All communication with the host is via the booking platform's messaging system; there is no manned reception. Check-in and entry are managed via a key-code system. The property has no luggage storage; bags cannot be left before check-in or after check-out-the nearest lockers are at Gare du Nord. Daily housekeeping is not included but can be arranged for a surcharge. A minimarket and a barber/beauty shop are located on the ground floor. The building has CCTV in common areas and key-card access for security. Express check-in/out is available. No lift serves the upper floors, and the stairways are narrow and steep, making the property unsuitable for guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage.
