The hotel is centrally located in the South End, a safe and charming neighbourhood with many restaurants and cafes. Back Bay Station is a 5-minute walk away, providing direct rail access to the city and airport routes. Major sights such as Boston Public Garden, Prudential Tower, and the Newbury Street shopping district are within a 15-20 minute walk. Logan Airport is 7 km away. For those driving, street parking is limited to 2 hours, and the recommended off-site garage is at 100 Clarendon Street. Bicycle parking is available for free.

Room sizes are very compact, often similar to a small dorm or cabin, with a bed taking up most of the space. Loft rooms include a mini fridge and a small kitchenette area. All rooms have a TV, air conditioning, heating, and soundproofed windows. Rooms with shared bathrooms access 5-6 private locking stalls per floor, shared by around 13-16 rooms. Bathrooms are cleaned 24 hours a day and towels are provided. Some road-facing rooms or those on the mezzanine may be noisier; higher floors away from the lobby are quieter. There is no closet, but hangers and shelves are provided. Lighting and bed quality are generally well-regarded.

Cosmica, the hotel's restaurant, serves Mexican cuisine for brunch (Sat-Sun 10:30), lunch, and dinner. Opening times are 17:00-23:00 Mon-Thu, 17:00-00:00 Fri, and 10:30-00:00 Sat, 10:30-23:00 Sun. The lobby coffee shop offers excellent coffee and pastries, open from 7 am (8 am on weekends). There is no standard sit-down breakfast service. Several highly-rated restaurants, including Picco, Masa, Wink & Nod, and Barcelona Wine Bar, are within a 5-minute walk. The hotel has a vending machine for drinks and snacks.

The fitness centre is small but functional, equipped with dumbbells and two Peloton bikes. Bicycle rental is available for free, and the hotel also has bicycle parking. For leisure, there is a shared lounge/TV area with board games, and a bar/lounge. The neighbourhood is excellent for walking, and the hotel is near an ice-skating rink. There is no pool or spa on site.
