The area is walkable for errands and dining, but a car is useful for exploring further attractions. Note that the parking lot is gravel, which can be awkward with heavy luggage.

Room sizes vary; some are spacious while others are compact. Ocean-view rooms on upper floors offer sweeping sea views, while ground-floor rooms may face the parking lot or landscaping. Some rooms have been recently updated with laminate flooring and modern fixtures, while others retain older carpets and dated furniture. The air conditioning unit can be noisy and blows directly onto the bed. Rooms lack USB ports, and some only have cable TV (no smart TV). Daily housekeeping is provided, and the floors are kept clean. No cots or rollaway beds are available; the sofa bed is suitable for one child or adult. For a quieter stay, request a room away from the parking area and common pathways.
