The beach provides kilometres of uninterrupted sand for walking, and the ocean is safe for swimming. For excursions, whale watching tours, sunset cruises, and trips to Sayulita are easily arranged through the resort's tour desk.

Room categories include double rooms, double rooms with sea view, family rooms (with 3 beds), quadruple rooms, and junior suites. All rooms feature air conditioning, a minibar (restocked every two days), a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box, and a private bathroom with a shower; suites include a bathtub. While generally spacious and clean, some rooms have dated furnishings and mattresses that are reported as worn or uncomfortable. Rooms on the first floor or with courtyard views can be musty. Noise from the central courtyard and neighbouring resort can be heard on all floors until 23:00. The five pools are kept clean but are unshaded, and pool chairs are reserved by 07:00. The water in most pools is warm, often described as bath-like, and the kids' pool is cooler. The fitness centre is free to use, and the spa offers massages, beauty services, and wellness packages for an additional charge. The private beach area has sun loungers and palm trees providing some shade; umbrellas are available for a daily fee from beach vendors. The entertainment team runs a full schedule of activities including aqua aerobics, water polo, volleyball, themed dinner nights, and evening shows.
