Downtown Bend, with its shops, breweries, and the Old Mill District, is a five- to ten-minute drive away. Mt. Bachelor ski resort is reachable in approximately 30 minutes, and a free shuttle runs to a nearby park-and-ride for lift access. The Riverhouse Convention Center is adjacent via paved walking paths. Several restaurants, including McKay Cottage and Subway, are within 0.5 km on foot.

Currents is open for breakfast (daily 7:00-11:00) and dinner (daily 16:00-21:00), with the lounge serving until 22:00 and a coffee bar from 7:00-11:00. Happy hour runs Monday-Friday from 16:00-18:00. Breakfast includes options like Eggs Benedict, smoked salmon scramble, buttermilk pancakes, and Bob's Red Mill steel-cut oats ($14-$24). Dinner features flatbreads, burgers, salads, and entrees like grass-fed beef meatloaf ($30) and rosemary roasted chicken ($32). Sunday brunch features live music from 11:00-13:00, and live music is also held on Friday evenings 19:00-21:00. A complimentary tasting of Bend's craft beverages is offered daily from 17:00-18:00. The restaurant can seat parties of four or ten. Children's meals and special diet menus are available upon request.

The indoor pool is open year-round and features nightly dive-in movies at 18:00. The outdoor pool opens seasonally after Labor Day. The hot tub is also open year-round. The fitness center includes cardio machines, weights, a Peloton, and a separate yoga zone. The barrel sauna and steam room are available for relaxation after outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy complimentary billiards and shuffleboard in the Currents Lounge. On-site bike rentals are available from Wheel Fun Rentals, and the hotel can arrange rafting trips, kayak deliveries, and other outdoor adventures. Seasonal events include live music, special holiday meals, and local brewery tastings. The Deschutes River Trail is directly accessible from the property.
