ROMA STORY 2, Rome

The property is situated on a quiet street in a central neighbourhood, within easy walking distance of the Colosseum (approximately 1 km), the Roman Forum, and many other major landmarks. Vittorio Emanuele Metro station is only 300 metres away, providing direct links to Roma Termini (the main train station with airport connections) and the rest of the city. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores are found on the same block, making it a practical base for exploring Rome without a car. The area is lively but the building itself is on a quieter residential street.

Double and triple rooms are available, each equipped with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, wardrobe, work desk, and private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Heating and air conditioning are provided, though some rooms have faced temperature control or noise issues from external sources. The room condition and maintenance can vary significantly; some travellers have reported issues with cleanliness, maintenance (e.g., broken fixtures, mould, poor lighting), and noise from adjoining rooms or the common area. Rooms are generally described as clean and comfortable by many, but size and furnishings vary, with some being quite small and others spacious. The property has a lift (elevator) but it is noted as being small and potentially unsuitable for large luggage.

Roma Story 2 does not have a restaurant or breakfast service. Guests should plan to eat out for all meals. The immediate neighbourhood offers a very wide selection of dining options within a 2-5 minute walk, including several pizzerias, trattorias, and international cuisine restaurants. A popular restaurant in the building opens at 19:00 and often requires a reservation. Complimentary coffee and water are available in the common lounge area.

There are no on-site leisure facilities such as a pool, fitness centre, or spa. A massage service can be arranged for an extra fee. Guests seeking extensive wellness amenities should look for a hotel with dedicated facilities. The property's strength is its central location, which places all of Rome's attractions and leisure activities within walking distance.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas. A lift serves the upper floors, though it is small. Private off-site parking is available nearby for €35 per day (no reservation needed). Luggage storage is offered for a €20 fee, providing flexibility for late departures. Pets are allowed with applicable charges. The property operates with remote check-in via WhatsApp or a similar app, and an invoice is provided for bookings. A common lounge area is available with water and coffee. The property is non-smoking throughout and has smoke detectors and fire extinguishers for safety.
