ROME SWEET ROME - CLOSE TO LINE A SAN GIOVANNI, Rome

The apartment sits in a top-rated residential area of Rome, balancing proximity to major sights with a local, non-touristy atmosphere. San Giovanni Metro Station (red line A) is a 3-minute walk, providing direct access to Termini station and the Spanish Steps. The Colosseum and Domus Aurea are a 20-minute walk or a 15-minute bus ride. Ciampino Airport is 11 km away; buses connect to the metro for an efficient route. The neighbourhood is well-supplied with supermarkets, pizzerias, cafés, and shops - several are within 0.5 km - making self-catering and dining convenient without heading into the centre.

The apartment sleeps up to 5 people across two separate bedrooms (one double, one single) plus an additional single bed on the kitchen. The well-fitted kitchen includes a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kettle, tea and coffee maker, and cookware. The living area has a seating area, wardrobe, flat-screen TV, and a work desk. Both bedrooms have fresh linens, and the bathroom includes a bidet. New windows with shutters keep the space quiet and well-insulated. There is no air conditioning; heating is functional. The property is on an upper floor with a lift (accessible via 5 steps, with an electric stair seat). Review-derived detail: a practical, clean apartment with comfortable beds and a quiet, domestic feel.

The apartment's kitchen is stocked with all essentials (stovetop, oven, refrigerator, kettle, cookware, and complementary oil, salt, tea, coffee). For those who prefer eating out, the neighbourhood offers several options: Trattoria Pizzeria Da Simonetta, Pizza Pane Dolci, VEG Joy, and a McDonald's are all 0.5 km away. O' Sole e' Napule (Neapolitan pizzeria) is 0.5 km. There is no on-site restaurant or breakfast service, but the location's dining density means you can easily grab a quick bite or sit-down meal within minutes.

No pool, spa, gym, or wellness areas are available at the property. The surrounding San Giovanni area is pleasant for walks and has a local, non-touristy environment. The metro and tram provide quick access to major attractions such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Vatican, making the apartment a good base for active sightseeing rather than staying on-site for leisure.

Free WiFi is available throughout the apartment. The host offers private check-in and check-out, and allows luggage storage before check-in (while housekeeping is in progress) and after check-out - particularly useful for late flights. A lift is present (5 steps to access it, with an electric stair seat). Fire extinguishers are installed for safety. There is no parking, so the apartment is best suited for guests using public transport. No pets allowed. No smoking on site.
