ROOMS ZOCALO, Mexico City

The property is located on a central street in the historic centre, a 4-minute walk from Zócalo Square and 500 metres from the Metropolitan Cathedral. The National Palace, Museo de Arte Popular, and Museo de Memoria y Tolerancia are all within walking distance. Benito Juarez International Airport is 8 km away. The immediate area is lively and safe for evening walks, with street food, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. A nearby metro station provides connections across the city. Note that the property is on a higher floor and there are stairs to climb, with limited lift access.

All rooms feature a shared bathroom and a dining area. Some rooms have windows and balconies, which provide natural light and ventilation, while interior rooms are windowless and rely on a fan, making them hot and stuffy. Room sizes vary, with some described as small. Beds are generally comfortable, and bedding consists of blankets rather than duvets. Soundproofing is minimal, so noise from other rooms and the street can be an issue. The property also offers family rooms and a shared kitchen.

The property offers free WiFi in all areas, a 24-hour front desk, and a lift. Services include a concierge, tour desk, room service, and express check-in/check-out. Safety features include key card access, CCTV, 24-hour security, and a safety deposit box. Luggage storage is available for an additional charge. The shared kitchen includes a dining area. No on-site parking is available.
