Zócalo Square is 500 metres away and Benito Juarez International Airport 9 km from the property. The surrounding streets are full of street food, convenience stores (Oxxo, 7-11) and inexpensive restaurants. Police presence is strong around the plaza, providing a sense of security at all hours. For longer trips, Line 2 of the metro is a block away, and Uber is the recommended way to get to and from the airport.

Accommodation ranges from standard rooms to more spacious loft-style doubles. Many rooms have balconies overlooking the city, while some face a busy street - road-facing rooms can be noisy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The building uses an older window system, so noise from the street filters in. Rooms are equipped with fans rather than air conditioning, and lighting can be low in some spaces. A small number of rooms have no windows at all. Most rooms do not have a television; only a twin room includes one. Mattresses are generally comfortable, though some are firmer. Loft-style rooms involve a steep ladder to the bed, which may not suit everyone. The design throughout is minimalist and clean.

The included breakfast offers a rotation of Mexican classics such as chilaquiles and pancakes, with fresh coffee and filtered water available. Portions are filling and the terrace provides a pleasant view of the city and the cathedral. The same rooftop space is used in the evening for drinks. There is no full restaurant on site, but the location puts dozens of food stalls, casual eateries and sit-down restaurants within a two-minute walk.
