The private beach is about 2 km south, easily reached via a free resort tram (approx. 6 minutes). Destin Harbor Boardwalk is 19 km away, Fort Walton Beach Park 26 km, and attractions like Big Kahunas and Destin History and Fishing Museum within 20 km. Baytowne Wharf, with dining and family activities, is a short walk or quick tram ride. Parking is right next to the building, with accessible spaces available. The location suits both car-free and car-based travel, with secure gated access and 24-hour security patrols.

Each studio is a 35 m2 open-plan unit with 1 bedroom (2 double beds), a private bathroom with tub and shower, and a separate sitting area. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and essential cookware and dishes-no stove. The unit is air-conditioned with soundproofing, parquet flooring, a flat-screen TV with cable, a washing machine and dryer, free WiFi, and a private terrace with outdoor furniture. Both floors offer identical views, floor plans, and furnishings. The bathroom has a tub with shower; a walk-in shower is not available. The real value is the unobstructed bay view: watch dolphins, fish, and crabs from the balcony, with sunrise views that are a key feature.

The Sunset Café by the pool serves breakfast and lunch when open (seasonal hours, check in advance). The property also has a bar, vending machine (drinks and snacks), coffee house on site, and offers wine/champagne for purchase. Grocery deliveries can be arranged (additional charge). For a wider selection, Baytowne Wharf within the same resort has many restaurants operating all year, easily accessible on foot or via tram. The kitchenette enables light meal preparation for breakfast or snacks, but the lack of a stove limits full cooking. The area is also convenient for families, with nearby casual dining options.

The outdoor swimming pool is open all year, features a pool with a view and a shallow end for children, plus sun loungers and umbrellas. A separate kids' pool is available free. The spa offers a range of treatments: back, neck, head, hand, foot, and full-body massage, couples massage, beauty services, public bath, and a spa/wellness centre (additional charges apply). The fitness centre is free. Guests can enjoy the private beach, sun terrace, and garden with picnic area.
