The Mississippi Riverfront and Court Square are directly adjacent, and a Walgreens is located behind the hotel. Several restaurants, including Lenny's Sub Shop and Blue Plate Cafe Downtown, are within 0.5 km. Memphis International Airport is 20 km away, and an Uber to Graceland costs approximately $14. The immediate area has a mix of homeless individuals and vacant storefronts, so use the trolley or ride-share at night for added comfort.

Breakfast is a buffet with hot and cold items, including scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, and make-your-own waffles. The breakfast room can become crowded, and plastic plates and cutlery are used. Some travellers found the hot options limited and the overall quality basic, while others appreciated the variety. A bar/lounge is open in the evenings, serving wine and champagne, though bartender availability can be inconsistent. Vending machines for snacks and drinks are also on site. There is no restaurant, but several dining options-including Felicia Suzanne's, Blue Plate Cafe Downtown, and Regina's Cajun Kitchen-are within a 5-minute walk.

The outdoor pool is open all year, though it is not heated. The pool and hot tub area have been noted as sometimes dirty or in need of refurbishment, with reports of rats around the pool area in the evening. The hot tub may not be functioning consistently. The fitness centre is equipped with basic cardio and strength equipment and is free to use. Bicycle rental is also available from the hotel for exploring downtown.
