Sercotel Las Torres is the only hotel built onto Salamanca's Plaza Mayor, placing the baroque square at your doorstep. The city's main landmarks - Casa de las Conchas, Monterrey Palace, Clerecía Church and Anaya Square - are all reachable in less than 5 minutes on foot. For longer trips, the Roman Bridge is a 15-minute walk and the high-speed AVE station about 25 minutes on foot. The city centre is largely pedestrianised, so walking is the best way to explore. Public parking garages are close (Le Mans, Santa Eulalia) but you cannot drive right up to the hotel, so plan to park before approaching. The area is lively day and night; rooms facing the square may experience ambient noise until late, while interior rooms are quieter.

Room options include Single (8m2, interior, no views), Economy Double (1.35m bed, interior, value-focused), Standard Double (interior or with Concejo street view, suitable for families), Family Room (larger, with wide beds, ideal for groups), Superior Double (more space, whirlpool bath, Plaza Mayor views) and a Suite (large round bath, full views). All rooms have air conditioning (centrally controlled; might not be operational before May), heating, a minibar/fridge, satellite TV, free WiFi and soundproofing that varies: some units have double glazing that keeps the square quiet when closed, while others report corridor noise. Bathrooms are private and include hairdryer and bidet; many rooms have a shower over bath, and some Superior rooms have a hydromassage cabin. Opaque glass bathroom doors do not fully close, which can reduce privacy. The hotel has an elevator and some adapted rooms for wheelchair users.

The hotel offers a buffet breakfast each morning from 7:30 to 10:30 on weekdays and 8:00 to 11:30 on weekends, costing €9.9 per adult and €7 per child. The breakfast selection includes cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausages, toast and cakes, along with a coffee and juice station. The dining room overlooks Plaza Mayor, making the meal a scenic start to the day. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, and no bar service in the lounge area, so evening meals need to be found in the many restaurants and tapas bars within 300m of the hotel. Pets are not allowed in the breakfast room.

The hotel does not have its own wellness facilities such as a swimming pool, spa, sauna or gym. For leisure, the hotel offers free bicycle rental and secure bike storage, making it easy to cycle around the historic centre and along the Tormes River. The 24-hour front desk can help arrange tickets for guided tours, shows and other local attractions, and the shared lounge/TV area provides a quiet indoor space to relax.

WiFi is free and available in all areas, and there is a Cyber Corner with computers for guests without their own device. The 24-hour front desk handles late arrivals, luggage storage (convenient after check-out), and tour desk services for tours, shows and restaurant bookings. A laundry service runs from 9:00 to 15:00.
