SHERIFF HOTEL, London

The hotel occupies a quiet street in the Pimlico area, minutes from the shops and restaurants of Victoria and Belgravia. Victoria Station is on foot in under five minutes, offering direct Tube connections (Circle, District, Victoria lines), national rail services and coach terminals. Key landmarks are within walking distance: the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey are a 25-minute walk, while Tate Britain is 20 minutes away. Buckingham Palace is also easily reached on foot. The immediate neighbourhood feels safe and is lined with cafes, pubs and restaurants such as Kazan, Tozi and St. George's Tavern, all within 0.5 km.

Each room is equipped with a pocket-spring mattress, a 26-inch flat-screen LED TV, free Wi-Fi, and a kettle with tea and coffee. Bathrooms feature powerful chrome Grohe showers, heated towel rails, demisting mirror lights and free toiletries. Some rooms include a balcony or a private external bathroom (with a lock and key). Room sizes vary significantly: many are described as very small, suitable primarily for sleeping. Bed configurations may consist of two single beds pushed together on wheeled frames, which can separate during use. The building has no lift, and rooms are accessed via narrow stairs; top-floor rooms (up to 55 steps) can be hot in summer. Rooms on lower floors or facing the road may experience street noise. Thin walls mean sound travels between rooms. Air conditioning is not available, though some rooms have ceiling fans.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms but may not work reliably in some locations. Free luggage storage is available on both arrival and departure days, a practical benefit for guests wanting to explore before check-in or after check-out. Express check-in and check-out service is also free. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. There is no lift, no air conditioning, no room service, and no on-site restaurant or bar. Housekeeping frequency varies; some rooms receive daily towel changes and bin emptying, while others report less consistent cleaning. Reception hours are 14:00-22:30; outside these hours, there is no on-site staff.
