The Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Royal Albert Hall are all within a 15-20 minute walk. London City Airport is 19 km away. The area is considered safe and well-connected for both walking and public transport.

Apartments are compact, especially lower-ground and basement rooms, where space can feel very tight for two people with luggage. Room levels vary from lower ground to the 4th floor. The standard double bed measures 135 cm x 190 cm, which many find too narrow and short for two people. Beds can be noisy, with creaking frames or sagging springs. The private bathroom includes a walk-in shower, but the bathroom can be very small, with no shelf space for toiletries. Air conditioning and heating are present but have been reported as unreliable in some rooms; windows open only slightly due to security. Some rooms lack natural light or have broken blinds. Road-facing rooms suffer from street and traffic noise, and the building's entrance door slams, carrying noise into nearby rooms.

The well-equipped kitchenette includes a two-plate ceramic hob, microwave, full-size fridge, kettle, Nespresso machine with pods, and basic cookware and cutlery. This allows for simple meal preparation. The immediate area offers a wide variety of dining: Cast Iron Bar & Grill (0.5 km), Masala Zone Earls Court (3 km), Evoluzione Restaurant (0.5 km), The Blackbird (0.5 km), and many more. For breakfast, guests can prepare their own or visit nearby cafes such as Fait Maison on Stratford Road. No breakfast is included in the room rate.

A lift serves all floors including the 4th floor one-bedroom apartment. WiFi is free but can be very weak or unusable in rooms 17 and others; some guests had to use mobile data. There is no daily housekeeping, luggage storage at the property, or on-site parking. A coin-operated washing machine is in the communal area. Check-in is self-service from 3pm, check-out by 11am.
