BEACH PLACE HOTEL, Miami Beach

The hotel sits directly across from the beach on a busy main road. South Beach clubs and restaurants are a 15-minute drive or a free trolley ride away. The free trolley and a bus stop are right outside, providing easy access to South Beach, downtown Miami, and the Port of Miami (40 minutes by bus). Bal Harbour Shops are a 6-minute drive, and the Miami Beach Convention Center is 10 km away. The immediate area has limited restaurants and shops within easy walking distance - most dining requires a short drive or trolley trip. The location is quiet at night despite being on a main road, but street-facing rooms experience significant noise.

Rooms are dated but clean, with comfortable beds and daily housekeeping. Standard rooms have two full-size beds and sleep up to four, while Deluxe King rooms (23 m²) add a kitchenette with microwave and mini-fridge. Superior Double rooms include more extensive kitchenettes, and the Two-Bedroom Family Suite features a full-size sofa bed and a stove/oven - ideal for longer stays. All rooms include a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a safe. Road-facing rooms are very noisy from traffic; request a room away from the road for quieter sleep. The property was renovated fairly recently but still feels older. Some rooms have carpets that may appear aged.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the hotel. Many rooms include kitchenettes with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker; select suites have a full electric stove and oven. A gourmet coffee machine in the lobby offers paid coffee. A few restaurants and shops are within a short drive, but there are no dining options within easy walking distance. The lack of on-site dining means planning meals ahead is essential, especially for longer stays. The free trolley can take you to areas with more food choices.

The heated outdoor pool is open year-round and surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas. The pool area is well-kept and a nice spot to relax after the beach.
