SIEGEL SELECT MEMPHIS, Memphis

The highway orientation makes a car the most practical way to get around; free on-site parking and accessible spaces simplify that. The immediate surroundings are road-focused rather than a walkable district. Nearby quick-service dining starts at about 1 km away: Tops Bar-B-Q, Ruby Tuesday, Wendy's and Krystal, with Pizza Hut and La Playita Mexicana at roughly 2 km. For trips into central Memphis, the freeway connection and easy parking give this location its main practical value.

King studio layouts are available, and several rooms feel spacious, with a full-size refrigerator making longer stays easier. Condition is uneven: some units show stained flooring, mould, broken fixtures, lingering smoke odour and pest activity, while non-smoking rooms do not always stay smoke-free. Standard in-room extras such as hairdryers, shampoo and cups are not consistently supplied. The building has no elevator, so third-floor rooms require stairs, and highway-facing rooms can be noisy. Travellers who are particular about freshness should inspect the assigned room before unpacking.

No full-service restaurant operates on site. Breakfast is limited to packaged muffins and takeaway coffee to enjoy in the room, with hot items not part of the offering. Coffee and tea are also available in the lobby, and drink and snack vending machines add convenience. For other meals, the surrounding highway corridor has several options within about 1-2 km, including Tops Bar-B-Q, Ruby Tuesday, Wendy's, Krystal, Pizza Hut and La Playita Mexicana.
