SLO HOSTEL NICE, Nice

The hostel sits on the main shopping street (Avenue Jean Medecin), 300 m away, offering easy access to shops, restaurants, and bakeries. The tram stop (Line 2) is a 7-minute walk, providing a direct connection to the airport starting at 4:00 AM on Sundays. The train station is convenient for day trips to Monaco, Cannes, and Antibes. The beach (Plage du Centenaire) is a 16-minute walk, and Castle Hill of Nice is 2 km. Public parking is available at Nicetoile and Q-Park, with free street parking overnight and on Sundays.

All rooms are in a newly renovated building, offering clean and modern interiors. Shared dormitories have lockable storage drawers under the beds (drawers fit small backpacks, not large suitcases). Each bed has a privacy curtain, individual reading light, mirror, and power outlets. Private rooms feature air conditioning, a wardrobe, and either a private or shared bathroom. Some rooms have a balcony. Bunk beds are sturdy. Dorm bathrooms are shared, with separate shower and toilet stalls. For light sleepers, road-facing rooms can be noisier. The compact room layout means two large suitcases may not open simultaneously.

Breakfast includes bread, croissants, cheese, ham, yogurt, fruit, cereal, pancakes, juice, and hot drinks. The downstairs lobby has a lounge area with seating and a microwave for guest use. Several restaurants (Djourdjoura, Le Comptoir, Mama's) and a chocolatier (Jean-Patrice Paci) are within a 5-minute walk, giving options for other meals.
