SOGGIORNO ANGELUS, Rome

The property is set on a quiet street in the historic centre, only 200 metres from the Colosseum and within a few minutes' walk to the Roman Forum (300 metres) and Trevi Fountain (1 km). The surrounding area is filled with typical restaurants, bars, and shops. Cavour metro station (Line B) is a few minutes away, providing direct access to Termini station in one stop. By taxi, Termini costs between €8-€10. Airports: Fiumicino (Leonardo Express train €11, 30 minutes) or Ciampino (shuttle bus from €7 one-way via Terravision). The property is inside a limited-traffic zone, so car access is restricted to certain hours.

Rooms are clean, comfortable, and basic, well-suited for short city-break stays. Each includes a private bathroom with shower, satellite TV with English channels, direct-dial telephone, and free Wi-Fi. Air conditioning and heating are available. Rooms are compact by European standards but are reported as quiet and functional. Note that no rooms have a balcony. Triple rooms have a double bed and a single bed. Bed preference can be requested at booking. The property is an older building but maintains a quiet atmosphere, making it suitable for light sleepers who request a room away from the street.

The property does not have its own restaurant. Breakfast availability depends on the chosen rate plan and should be confirmed at booking. The surrounding Monti district offers a wide choice of dining - typical trattorias, restaurants, bars, and cafes are all within a few minutes' walk. For self-catering, supermarkets are also nearby. The property can arrange wine or champagne on request for anniversaries and birthdays at an additional charge.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Daily housekeeping is included. Luggage storage is free on the day of check-in and check-out (until 7:00 pm); longer-term storage costs €35 per bag. The lift is a notable convenience in a historic centre building. A paid airport shuttle can be arranged for Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. English- and Spanish-speaking staff are available at reception. Morning newspapers can be ordered on request. The property does not offer laundry service, but nearby laundries can be used. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Diners Club, Maestro, CartaSi, MasterCard. Pets are not allowed.
