SPACE HOME APARTMENT - INNER CITY, Vienna

The hostel sits in a practical residential area close to the Gasometer concert venue and the Ernst-Happel-Stadion - both within about 25 minutes on foot. The tram stop and metro station are a few minutes away, connecting to central Vienna and the main train stations in under 15 minutes. The city centre is about a 30-minute walk along a straight road. Vienna International Airport is 15 km away; an Uber costs around €26. A Lidl, Hofer, Billa, and Eurospar are immediately adjacent, making it easy to pick up supplies. Several restaurants, pubs, and a café are within a 5-minute walk. The Museum of Military History (2 km) and Belvedere Palace (2 km) are within walking distance.

The accommodation consists of ten fully enclosed capsules arranged in a single room accessed directly from the street. Each capsule contains a single bed with a thin mattress, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, adjustable lighting and air conditioning, a safe, a mirror, and multiple charging ports. The sliding door can be locked from the inside, providing a private space. The shared bathroom area is located on a lower floor and includes lockable shower cabins, toilets, and washbasins. The capsules themselves have limited natural light and rely on mechanical ventilation; some ventilation units can be audible. The thin walls and capsule doors transmit sound easily, so night-time noise from other occupants is common. For taller individuals, the capsule length may feel limited. A small towel and shower gel are provided.

The hostel does not have a restaurant, bar, or kitchen area. There is no communal space for eating. For meals, the immediate surroundings offer multiple options: Coffee & Friends, Ristorante Paolo, and Anker Snack & Coffee are all 0.5 km away. Landstein, Sri Thai imbiss, and Fischrestaurant Luka's & Co are about 0.5 km away. Supermarkets including Lidl, Hofer, Billa, and Eurospar are right next door, allowing self-catering with cold food. The metro and tram provide quick access to central Vienna's wider dining scene.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and is free of charge, with reported speeds of up to 200 Mbps when functioning. Luggage storage and lockers are provided for securing bags during the stay or after check-out. The property offers express check-in/out and private check-in/out via a door code sent by email; there is no reception desk on site. Safety features include key card access, CCTV outside, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and a safe deposit box in each capsule. Cleaning is done once daily by a staff member who mops floors and cleans washbasins, but no daily room tidying is provided for the capsules themselves. Communication with the management is via phone or messaging.
