SPACE HOME APARTMENT - CENTRAL STATION # HAUPTBAHNHOF, Vienna

Public transport is excellent: the tram stop with direct lines to the city centre is right outside, and the U1 subway is a short walk away. Vienna International Airport is 18 km away, reachable by train from the main station. The neighbourhood is safe and well-connected, with supermarkets (Hofer, Spar, Aldi) and a variety of restaurants (Asian, Italian, pizza) within 0.3-0.5 km. An ice-skating rink is also in the surroundings. This central location makes it easy to explore Vienna on foot or by transit.

Capsules are made of plastic and are not soundproof; noise from other guests, doors, and hallway lights can be noticeable, especially at night. Some capsules have had issues with lights remaining on, TVs not working, or safes malfunctioning. The shared bathrooms are modern and clean, with two spacious showers and two separate toilets for up to 10 guests - the showers have good water pressure and floor heating. Single and double capsule options are available. Mattress comfort is variable: some find it comfortable, others report thin or stained bedding. Lockers are provided, but key availability can be inconsistent; it is advisable to confirm a locker key at check-in. Capsules lock from the inside and can be secured when leaving, offering good privacy for a hostel.

Check-in is self-service via a door code; supportive staff can be reached by chat or phone. Private and express check-in/out are offered. On-site facilities include a minimarket, safety deposit boxes (though reliability varies), and fire extinguishers. Parking is public and nearby - charges may apply, and reservations are not possible. Accepted payment methods: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard. The property has no lift, no communal lounge, and no kitchen. Some guests have reported that locker keys are not always available, so confirming with staff on arrival is recommended. The luggage storage service is particularly useful for early arrivals or late departures.
