STELLA GUEST HOUSE O AFFITTACAMERE, Rome

Stella Guest House is a 10-15 minute walk from Roma Termini, the city's main train and metro hub, and just 5 minutes from Vittorio Emanuele Metro station (line A). The Colosseum is 2 km away (about 20 minutes on foot), and Porta Maggiore is 700 metres from the door. Rome Ciampino Airport is 13 km away, reachable by train from Termini. The immediate area is a busy, multi-ethnic neighbourhood with many restaurants and shops within a few hundred metres (Le Caveau, Little India, Lamien & Dumplings, and others are 0.5 km away). While the location is practical for public transport and walking to major sights, the surrounding streets feel safer during daylight hours; those arriving late or travelling alone may prefer to take a short taxi from Termini.

Rooms range from single to triple, all featuring air conditioning (free), heating, a seating area, flat-screen TV, a private entrance, and a kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, tea and coffee maker, and dining area. Private bathrooms include a shower, hairdryer, slippers, and free toiletries. Note that some rooms are described as having the private bathroom located outside the room, in the corridor - only usable by that room but not en-suite. Room sizes vary; some are described as compact and may feel small for guests with multiple large suitcases. The building is older, so soundproofing between rooms and the corridor is limited. Windows may not all be openable, and some rooms face a courtyard. A lift is available.

The property has a coffee house on site where coffee and hot drinks are available. A shared kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and kettle is accessible for those who wish to cook simple meals. The immediate area is rich with dining options: within 0.5 km you will find Le Caveau, Little India, Just for You, Chef by Italy, Lamien & Dumplings, and Ristorante Nuovo Canestro. For a more varied choice, the Mercato Centrale food hall near Termini is popular. No breakfast service is offered.

The property does not operate a pool, spa, gym, or sauna. A small park is located nearby, which can be used for walks or relaxing. The surrounding area is well-connected for sightseeing, with the Colosseum and Roman Forum around 20 minutes away on foot.

WiFi is complementary throughout the property. Daily housekeeping is provided (free of charge) upon request or as a standard service. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are offered. Luggage storage is available after checkout (€7 per piece). A lift serves the building, and there is a minimarket on site. Additional services include ironing, a barber/beauty shop, and room service. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, key access, and a safety deposit box. Reception is not staffed 24/7, but the team is responsive via WhatsApp. Invoices can be provided separately for company bookings.
