SWEETT - LUXURY VELASCA, Milan

The apartments are modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a sofa bed for extra sleeping. Each kitchen is stocked with a stovetop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee machine; many units also include a washing machine, with some offering a dryer and ironing equipment. Bathrooms are private but lack ventilation, which may cause humidity and odour issues; the shower drain can produce smells. Heating and air conditioning are centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted individually. Windows are single-glazed: those facing the road let in traffic and tram noise, and during strong winds they may not stay fully shut. Construction work in the neighbourhood begins early in the morning, audible even on higher floors. For quieter conditions, request a room away from the street-facing side. Units also include a wardrobe with hangers, a safe deposit box, and a flat-screen TV.

The property does not operate a restaurant or regular breakfast service. Some room plans may include breakfast for an extra charge, but this is not standard. Each apartment has a full kitchen, allowing self-catering. As a welcome amenity, the property provides bottled water and coffee capsules for the machine. The surrounding area is dense with dining options: The Grill Missori (50 yd), Mania Tropicale (50 yd), and Yokohama (20 yd) are among many restaurants, cafes, and bars within a few minutes' walk. For a wider selection, Duomo Square is a 10-minute stroll away.

WiFi is free in all areas. The lift provides access to all floors. Luggage storage is free and can be used before check-in or after check-out. Daily housekeeping can be arranged for an additional charge; note that some units may not have cleaning tools (vacuum, broom) provided. The reception is located in a neighbouring building and communicates via WhatsApp. Staff can assist with taxi bookings and may accommodate early check-in requests. Security includes a digital code lock on each door. Parking is not available on site, but paid garages are within walking distance. Payment is accepted via Visa and MasterCard. A refundable security deposit is collected by credit card before check-in.
