The hotel sits in the atmospheric Talad Noi district, a 10-minute walk from Hua Lamphong MRT and railway station. Chinatown is 15 minutes on foot, and the river pier for ferries is a 5-minute walk. Sampeng Market is 1 km away, Patpong 2 km, and MBK Shopping Mall 2 km. A bus stop is directly outside, and tuk-tuks to Chinatown cost around 80 THB. The neighbourhood is filled with street art, independent cafes, restaurants, and bars, making it ideal for exploring on foot.

Rooms are compact, with limited storage space for luggage and clothing. Each room includes a private bathroom (with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries), air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, fridge, electric kettle, and free bottled water. Some double and twin rooms have a minibar. The family room contains one 1.5 m and one 0.9 m bed; no extra bed can be added. Sound insulation between rooms is minimal, so upper-floor rooms are quieter. Rooms facing the parking lot have less appealing views. Beds are comfortable and cleanliness is generally maintained, though some rooms may show wear.

The Talakkia Cafe and Restaurant offers a family-friendly setting with American, Chinese, and Thai dishes, open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
