The surrounding streets are walkable and safe, with a 7-Eleven and a laundromat nearby, giving practical convenience for light packers and long-stay travellers alike.

The hostel offers both mixed and female-only dormitories, including 4-bed, 8-bed, and 10-bed configurations. The female-only dormitory is located on an upper floor and is spacious with good movement space. Capsule pods feature a private TV with Netflix, a reading light, power outlets, and a curtain for privacy - a good choice for travellers wanting a quiet personal space. Bunk beds are fitted with a mattress, pillow, blanket, and towel. The rooms are soundproofed and the air conditioning works well. Taller travellers over 180 cm may find the bunk beds and pods short; sleeping diagonally is sometimes necessary. Some upper-floor dorm rooms lack windows, though swaps to windowed rooms can be requested at reception. Storage within the room consists of a small safe and lockers; full-size luggage may need to be kept in the common area. Shared bathrooms are located on each floor and vary: lower-floor bathrooms are separate shower rooms, while upper-floor bathrooms are combined shower-toilet cubicles where the floor tends to stay wet.

The breakfast offering is simple but adequate for a hostel - basic continental items such as bread, spreads, cereals, and hot drinks are available each morning. For an additional S$1, enhanced breakfast options may be chosen when booking. There is no on-site restaurant or cafe; the lobby has a relaxed area where takeaway food from outside can be eaten. The hostel's location is surrounded by many affordable eateries: Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice and Yum Cha Restaurant are within 0.5 km, and Maxwell Food Centre is within walking distance for a wide range of local dishes. A fresh orange juice machine is available outside the front of the property. The common area is also used for the free breakfast and as a social meeting point in the evenings.
