The Jasmine House occupies a quiet residential street in Ansonborough, surrounded by antebellum homes and within easy walking distance of the French Quarter. City Market (0.5 km), Marion Square, and King Street's shopping and dining districts are all a few minutes on foot. Waterfront Park and the International African American Museum are also reachable without a car. The nearest airport, Charleston International, is 4 km away; no airport shuttle is available. Hampton Park and The Citadel are each 10 km from the property. Check-in and parking are handled at the sister Indigo Inn directly across the street.

Four room categories are available. The Jasmine House Parlour Suite offers a spacious sitting room, fireplace, hardwood floors, and semi-private veranda access. The Corner Queen features abundant natural light and views of the courtyard or veranda. The Proprietor's Flat, occupying the entire third floor, includes a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and a separate bedroom with en-suite bath; it is the largest accommodation. The Carriage House Courtyard Queen is located in a separate building with courtyard views, a walk-in shower, and a mini fridge. Some rooms have two queen beds. Every room is equipped with air conditioning, heating, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, iron/board, and complimentary local snacks and drinks. Select rooms include a gas fireplace or a private patio.

Breakfast includes fresh pastries, muffins, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, and savory rolls - served either buffet-style in the common area or delivered to your room upon preorder. There is no on-site restaurant, but the hotel's historic Ansonborough location places dozens of dining options within a five-minute walk, including Hank's Seafood, Peninsula Grill, and Cru Cafe. A romantic package includes a bottle of wine and assorted chocolates in the room. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy complimentary soft drinks, water, and local snacks.

The secluded courtyard with a fountain and magnolia trees is ideal for reading or enjoying morning coffee. The front veranda offers a place to watch the neighborhood activity. There is also a sun terrace. The adult-only policy ensures a calm environment. For more active recreation, Waterfront Park and Marion Square are a short walk away. No gym, pool, or spa facilities are present.
