Soundproofing between rooms and from hallways is minimal, so road-facing or upper-floor rooms may hear streetcar and hallway noise. Light sleepers should consider earplugs. The beds are generally described as comfortable, but some mattresses may be softer than ideal for those who prefer firm support.

Breakfast is a simple continental buffet available from 7:00 to 11:00, offering pastries, muffins, fruit, hot oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, and coffee.
