While convenient for public transport, the streets can be quieter at night, and some areas may feel less busy after 9:30 pm. Uber rides to Old Town Square cost approximately £4-6.

The property consists of two buildings: a modern main building and an older annex across the street. The newer rooms are modern and well-maintained, while the older building rooms can be dated, with worn furniture, carpet stains, and thinner walls. Noise can be an issue in some rooms, particularly those facing the street or with poor soundproofing, and nearby construction may start around 6:00 am. There is no air conditioning; standing fans are provided in summer. Some road-facing rooms may need windows open at night for ventilation, increasing street noise. Rooms have heated bathroom floors, soundproof windows (in select rooms), and parquet flooring. Larger rooms are available but can feel cold in winter; heating is radiator-based. A kettle, tea, coffee, and safety deposit box are standard.

The breakfast buffet is consistently described as excellent, with a wide variety of fresh bread, pastries, hot and cold options. It runs from 7:00 to 10:00 daily and costs 20 EUR per person.
