CENTRAL HOTEL PRAGUE, Prague

The hotel is on a quieter street right off Republic Square, within easy walking distance of the Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square, and the Powder Tower. The nearest metro and tram stop is a 3-minute walk away, making it simple to reach the airport or train station. The surrounding area is pedestrian-friendly, with the Palladium shopping centre, Kotva department store, and many restaurants, bars, and cafés all within a few minutes. For airport transfers, the hotel can arrange a taxi for €32 per car (cash only) or you can take public transport. The luggage storage allows you to explore freely before check-in or after check-out. The central location is ideal for sightseeing but street-facing rooms can be noisy from nightlife; requesting a room on a higher floor or at the back increases quiet.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread, pastries, cereal, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, and juice. The selection is consistent and simple - fine for a quick start to the day. If you have an early check-out, a packed breakfast can be arranged by informing reception the day before. The breakfast room is managed by staff who enforce rules about bread type for toasting and cup use; it is advisable to follow the signs. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but the area is filled with dining options within a 2-minute walk. The lobby bar is not open for service, though a shared lounge with a TV area is available for relaxation.

There is no swimming pool, spa, gym, or sauna at the property. For leisure, the hotel can arrange bike tours, walking tours, and classes about local culture for an additional charge. The shared lounge area with a TV is available for guests to relax. The location in the historic centre means all major sights, parks, and entertainment are within walking distance.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the building. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, concierge, tour desk, and luggage storage (free). The hotel provides daily housekeeping free of charge; additional cleaning services (laundry, dry cleaning, ironing) are available for a fee. Ironing equipment can be borrowed from reception. Cots and babysitting/child services can be arranged on request. Pets are allowed (small dogs) for a daily charge of €10. Parking is off-site in a nearby parking house, €22-€40 per day, and must be reserved in advance. The hotel can arrange airport transfer (taxi, €32/car, cash only) or guests can use public transport. The lift serves all floors. Accessible parking is available off-site.
