TOPDOMIZIL APARTMENTS BERLIN MITTE, Berlin

The suites are at separate addresses in central Berlin, with the main location at Platz vor dem Neuen Tor 1 A/B. The area is lively, with many restaurants, bars, and clubs within walking distance. Public transport is excellent: the tram and U-Bahn are a short walk away, and Hauptbahnhof is just one stop by tram. For guests arriving by train, the walk from the station is about 10 minutes. The surrounding streets are busy, but many units remain quiet, especially those facing the courtyard. Two supermarkets and several cafés are close by, making self-catering easy.

The accommodation consists of self-catering suites with a well-equipped kitchen, living area, and separate bedrooms. The Grand Suite has two bedrooms: one with a double bed that can be separated into two singles, and a smaller bedroom with two single beds. Ceilings are high, and floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light. Some suites include a balcony, ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, a CD player, and a flat-screen TV. The bathrooms are private, and some units feature a separate toilet in addition to the main bathroom. Soundproofing between rooms is good, and the suites are spacious, offering more room than a typical hotel room. The interiors are stylishly decorated, and the apartments are kept clean. For light sleepers, requesting a courtyard-facing unit is advisable to minimise street noise.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the property. Each suite includes a well-equipped kitchen with necessary cookware, utensils, a kettle, and a coffee machine. This makes self-catering straightforward. Within a short walk you'll find a supermarket, several bakeries, and cafés such as Berlin Espresso House. Many restaurants are nearby, including Italian options like Bonfini and Mangiarbene di Giancarlo, and casual spots like Speisekombinat. For guests who prefer not to cook, the surrounding area provides a wide range of dining choices without relying on the property.

There is no spa, swimming pool, or wellness facility available at the property. Leisure is centred on exploring the city, with many attractions within walking or short transit distance. Some suites offer a balcony, ideal for relaxing outdoors.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The building has a lift, making upper-floor units accessible. Family rooms and cots (in some rooms) are available, though extra beds are not. Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the service fee. The host is responsive and accommodating, even for late arrivals. Safety features include smoke alarms. Accepted payment methods are American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. No parking is available, and there is no airport shuttle. For those arriving by car, nearby public parking will need to be found.
