The neighbourhood is energetic at night, with pub and restaurant noise extending until late, which may affect light sleepers. The tram stop is nearby, making car-free city access straightforward, but parking is not available on site.

Each apartment has a double bed and a sofa bed that can be prepared for a third guest, though the sofa bed is firm and better suited for short stays only. The room is large by Oslo standards, with parquet floors and soundproofed walls that help reduce street noise. The kitchenette includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, and basic cookware, but the equipment is minimal (one pan, few utensils, no toaster or microwave). The private bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, and underfloor heating. All units are on the top floor (3rd or 4th) without a lift, accessed by spiral stairs. The only window is a skylight in the sloped roof, which does not open fully and has ineffective blinds - early summer mornings can be very bright and warm. There is no wardrobe or clothes storage; a few hooks are provided. The space is practical for 1-2 people for a short city break, but less suitable for longer stays or those who need to cook properly.

The property itself does not have a pool, gym, spa, or similar leisure amenities. For outdoor activities, there is an ice-skating rink nearby in winter, and Sognsvann Lake (7 km away) offers walking trails, swimming, and boating in the warmer months. The central location means most city attractions, parks and the harbour are within walking distance, making the apartment a practical base for exploring Oslo.
