TOWNEPLACE SUITES BY MARRIOTT VENTURA OXNARD, Oxnard

The hotel sits directly across from a major retail and dining hub, making it easy to walk to Starbucks, Whole Foods, Target, and over 25 restaurants. The freeway is adjacent, providing quick access to Ventura and Santa Barbara. While road-facing rooms may pick up traffic noise, rooms on higher floors or away from the freeway are notably quieter. The location is ideal for those arriving by car, with on-site parking and EV charging available.

Rooms are modern, clean, and well-equipped for extended stays, including a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee maker, and a work desk. Upper-floor rooms often offer mountain views and minimal noise from other rooms. Road-facing and first-floor rooms near the speakers or basketball court may experience more noise. The thermostat is centrally controlled and may reset to a higher temperature when the room is unoccupied, which can be a consideration for those who prefer cool sleeping conditions. Private bathrooms include a bath or shower; some walk-in showers have only a half panel of glass.

Breakfast is included and served in a large dining area. The selection includes hot items, pastries, and make-your-own waffles. Some may find the fruit limited and utensils are disposable; those seeking a more varied morning meal will find several cafés and restaurants within a short walk. There is no on-site restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the immediate area offers a wide range of dining options.

The outdoor swimming pool is open all year and includes sun loungers and umbrellas. A basketball court and BBQ grills with outdoor seating and a fireplace create a functional leisure area, especially for families or groups. The fitness centre is clean and well-stocked. There is no spa or hot tub on site.
