HAMPTON BY HILTON BERLIN CITY WEST, Berlin

The hotel sits on a quiet side street off Kantstraße, within easy reach of Berlin's major shopping boulevard and the Tiergarten. Uhlandstraße U-Bahn (U3 line) is a 3-minute walk, providing direct service to the city centre and the Warschauer Straße hub for airport connections via S9. Zoologischer Garten station (S-Bahn and regional trains) is 10 minutes on foot, offering a 1-hour direct line from Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The immediate area is dense with restaurants, cafés, and bars-many within 300-500 m. For drivers, on-site parking is very limited; the nearest public garage is 60 m away. The location suits both leisure travellers exploring the Ku'damm area and business visitors to Messedamm (15 minutes by taxi, 30 minutes by public transport).

The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety: scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh waffles (self-made), breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, fruit, and yogurts. Gluten-free options are available on request. Vegan choices are limited, but guests can bring their own items to store in the hotel fridge. The breakfast area can become very crowded between 08:30 and 09:30, with queues at the coffee machine and slower restocking of hot food. The room itself is brightly lit and can feel noisy during peak times. For guests arriving early from a flight, breakfast on the day of check-in can be arranged. There is no restaurant on site; the 24/7 lobby bar serves hot drinks, snacks, and pre-mixed cocktails until late. The surrounding streets offer numerous dining options within walking distance, including Paris Bar, Schwarzes Cafe, and Thai Elephant (all 300-500 m away).

The fitness centre is compact but well-maintained and open around the clock-ideal for early-morning or late-night workouts. Equipment covers basic cardio and strength training, enough for a maintenance session. There is no pool, spa, or sauna on the property. For outdoor activity, the hotel offers bicycle rental (additional charge) and cycling routes nearby. The Tiergarten park is within a 15-minute walk for running or leisurely strolls.
