URBAN GARDEN HOTEL, Rome

Rebibbia is the last stop on Metro Line B, offering direct access to Termini Station and the Colosseum without changing lines. The metro ride to central Rome takes about 25-30 minutes. A daily metro pass costs €7. The area includes a Lidl supermarket and several local shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is 8 km from Roma Termini by taxi and 21 km from Rome Ciampino Airport. An airport shuttle is available at an additional charge. Street parking and a gated private parking area (€10/day) are available. The neighbourhood is practical for travellers with a car, but the immediate surrounding streets are less suitable for late-night walking alone. The hotel itself is fenced and gated, with a garden and sun terrace that provide a quiet outdoor retreat.

Room types include single, double, triple, and quadruple configurations, each with air conditioning, heating, and soundproofing. The quadruple room has two beds and an outdoor dining area. Some rooms have a door-window that opens onto a walkway rather than a traditional window, which can make the room feel dark and reduce privacy - curtains are fitted but may need attention. Road-facing rooms on the ground floor can experience traffic noise. Bathrooms are private and include a shower with good water pressure; some rooms feature a large shower. Extra beds are available for €20 per day, and baby cots are provided on request. Rooms are generally clean and functional, with a desk, wardrobe, and safety deposit box. The overall style is motel-like - rooms open directly onto a courtyard or balcony.

The breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, toast, croissants, cakes, cereals, ham, cheese, fruit juice, and coffee. The variety is considered good value for the price, with many savoury and sweet options. The hotel also has a bar open until late, a snack bar, and a coffee shop on site. Breakfast in the room can be arranged. Wine and champagne are available at an additional charge. Special diet menus can be requested. Packed lunches are available. The garden and terrace have outdoor seating for drinks and meals.

The sun terrace and garden furniture provide a place to unwind after sightseeing. The solarium is free of charge. The hotel also offers a shared lounge and a TV area. Free bicycle rental is not available on site; bicycles can be rented in the city centre. Activities such as cycling, bike tours, walking tours, and cultural tours are available at an additional charge. The garden is planted with jasmine and lemon trees, creating a quiet atmosphere for an evening drink.
