HOGRAFIC HOTEL, Valencia

The hotel is situated less than 1 km from Turia Gardens, giving direct access to the city's main green corridor. The Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados is nearby, and the City of Arts and Sciences is about a 10-15 minute walk. Valencia Airport is 10 km away; a bus stop right outside the hotel (line 95) connects to the beach at Malvarrosa Playa. The train station is a 20-minute walk or a short taxi ride (around €7). A Valenbisi bike station is also nearby, and the surrounding streets are lined with local restaurants and bars.

Rooms are available as doubles with one bed or twins with two beds (the twin beds can be separated upon request, though rooms are compact). All rooms include a flat-screen TV with terrestrial and English-speaking channels, an electric kettle, a small fridge, and a wardrobe. Windows are present in all rooms by law, but may face an internal courtyard rather than the street, limiting natural light and privacy. The walk-in shower features a hairdryer and free toiletries, though some bathrooms have limited hanging space and the shower may cause minor flooding on the floor. Overall, the rooms are best for a few nights in a central location rather than extended stays.

Breakfast is offered at an additional charge of €1 and includes a variety of bread, pastries, ham, cheese, Spanish tortilla, yogurt, cereals, and fresh fruit. The fresh orange juice is a standout feature. Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:00 (until 10:30 on Saturdays and Sundays). The breakfast room is small and can feel crowded, so an early start is advisable. For a more relaxed start, the option of breakfast in the room is also available. The hotel has a vending machine for drinks, and a coffee machine is accessible outside breakfast hours.

Turia Gardens, directly across the street, offers a large park with paths for walking, running, and cycling. The park also provides access to water sports in the surroundings. The City of Arts and Sciences is a 10-minute walk away, and a bus stop outside the hotel (line 95) connects directly to the beach at Malvarrosa Playa.

The hotel offers a range of practical services: a tour desk can help plan excursions, and a shared lounge/TV area is available. Fax/photocopying is offered for an additional charge. Luggage storage is free and useful for late departures. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key card/ key access. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, with soundproof rooms and heating. All rooms have air conditioning. The property is accessible for wheelchair users, with an emergency cord, lower bathroom sink, raised toilet, and toilet grab rails.
