VATICAN GRAND SUITE, Rome

Vatican Grand Suite sits in a quiet, safe residential area within easy walking distance of St Peter's Square, Castel Sant'Angelo, and the Vatican Museums. The Lepanto metro station connects directly to Termini and the historic centre. Plenty of restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and a supermarket are within a 5-minute radius. Rome Ciampino Airport is 17 km away; airport buses stop on a nearby street. Drivers can use nearby street parking or paid public parking at €25 per day.

The property offers double, triple, and family rooms, all with a private bathroom, air conditioning, heating, minibar, flat-screen TV, safe, and wardrobe. Family rooms can sleep up to 5 with a single space of 3 beds; note that separate rooms or adjoining doors are not available. Rooms on the ground floor may experience some noise from the street or corridor. The bathroom, while functional, has been noted as dated, with some reports of low water pressure and black mould. Rooms are generally clean and beds comfortable, though some have noted a smell of damp or smoke. A kettle, fridge, and coffee machine are provided in the room.

Breakfast is included for certain rates and consists of a selection of croissants, toast, jam, butter, Nutella, milk, coffee, tea, and fruit juice. You fill out a form the night before, and breakfast is delivered to your room at your chosen time. The breakfast is continental and sweet-focused, with limited variety. There is no restaurant or bar on site. Numerous cafés and pizzerias are within a 2-minute walk for guests seeking a hot meal or more extensive options.

There is no spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre at Vatican Grand Suite. The surrounding district offers several parks and walking paths, including the Vatican Gardens and the banks of the Tiber. An ice-skating rink is located nearby.
