VIB HOTEL BY BEST WESTERN DENVER RINO, Denver

The hotel is located 4 km from Union Station and 18 km from Denver International Airport, placing it in a vibrant yet slightly removed area of the RiNo Arts District. Larimer Street's restaurants, breweries, and art galleries are a short, safe walk away, and attractions like Coors Field and Denver Zoo are nearby. The surroundings include an ice-skating rink and numerous breweries. The 38th/Blake light rail station is a 10-minute walk, offering direct service to downtown and the airport, making a car optional for many itineraries. The immediate area is undergoing construction and has a commercial-industrial feel, which can affect street noise during the week and create some walking paths that feel less secure after dark.

Rooms are contemporary and functional, featuring a safe deposit box, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with casting capability. Some rooms have private balconies (king bedroom suite KXB). Room size varies notably: queen rooms ending in 115-315 are significantly larger than zero-ending rooms (e.g., 105, 205), which can be quite compact with limited storage and manoeuvring space. The king beds are comfortable, and blackout curtains are effective for sleep. Bathrooms are clean with good shower pressure and Drybar toiletries, but lack towel racks and shelf space for personal toiletries. The minibar fridge cycles loudly (30 minutes on/off) and can disrupt sleep; some fridges are stocked with items for sale, leaving little room for personal food. There is no microwave or in-room coffee maker, only a kettle.

The fitness centre is complimentary and offers a good selection of cardio equipment (including two Peloton bikes) and free weights, making it adequate for a solid workout, particularly for those focused on cardio. It is rarely crowded early in the day. There is no pool, spa, sauna, or jacuzzi. For leisure, the hotel has a shared lounge/TV area, outdoor furniture with a picnic area, a sun terrace, and an outdoor fireplace. The surrounding RiNo area is known for its art galleries, murals, and breweries, and the rooftop bar itself serves as a leisure and social space with views of the city and mountains.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk provides express check-in/check-out, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes. Daily housekeeping is included, and a paid laundry service (pick-up/drop-off) is available. Business facilities include fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet rooms. For convenience, there is a minimarket on site with snacks and toiletries, a vending machine, and a shared lounge. Accessibility features include wheelchair access, lower bathroom sinks, raised toilets, grab rails, and visual aids (braille/tactile signs). Pets are allowed for a one-time $40 fee. Parking is off-site: a partner garage a 1/2 block away for $15/night (24-hour access, 8'2" clearance) or free street parking subject to availability. No airport or train station shuttle is provided; the 38th/Blake light rail station is a 10-12 minute walk. There are quiet sitting areas in the lobby and lounge suitable for remote work.
