The hostel sits in Denver's LoDo neighbourhood, a block from Coors Field and close to Union Station (10-15 minutes on foot). The 16th Street Mall, with its shops, restaurants, and entertainment, is nearby. The area is well-served by public transport: the A-line train from Denver International Airport runs to Union Station, and numerous bus and light-rail lines connect downtown. Bars and restaurants fill the immediate streets, making it a lively, walkable base for exploring the city. The immediate surroundings are safe and well-trafficked, though the bar district can be lively at night.

Rooms range from shared dorms (co-ed and female-only) to private quad rooms and a king en-suite. Each bunk bed includes a curtain for privacy, an individual light, a power outlet, a fan, and a heavy blanket. In-room lockers range in size but can hold valuables; larger bags can be stored underneath the bunk or in a locked storage room. Private rooms offer more space and may include city views, particularly the top-floor Anthro Room. Bed preparation and towels are provided at check-in. Some rooms have a sitting area, parquet floors, and heating. Rooms without windows are possible in certain private configurations; those sensitive to light should confirm room type at booking. Some top-floor rooms feature city views and unique decor themes. The property has a lift, though there are stairs at the entrance.

There is no restaurant on site, but the bar offers a full drinks selection including beer, wine, and cocktail specials, with a popular daily happy hour and evening entertainment. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with a range, microwave, pots and pans, refrigerator, and coffee-making facilities (coffee machine, water heater, and microwave are all provided). Breakfast is not standard; select dates may offer breakfast options, but most guests plan to self-cater or eat at the many bars and cafés within a block of the hostel.
