WIDEGATE RESIDENTIAL, London

Widegate Residential sits on Widegate Street, a side street in Spitalfields just a few minutes' walk from Liverpool Street Station, which provides direct underground, rail, and Stansted Express connections. The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are both 2 km away, and St Paul's Cathedral is 2 km. Brick Lane is less than 1 km from the accommodation. The area is lively, with many restaurants and bars on the doorstep. The immediate surroundings are very walkable and well served by public transport, but the street-level noise from nearby pubs can be significant, especially on weekends.

The property offers studio and apartment-style rooms, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge, electric kettle, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms also have a balcony. While the building's corridors and stairways are in a worn, dated condition, the rooms themselves provide a clean, functional space. Room sizes vary: smaller studios may feel compact for two people, while the one-bedroom apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests with two double beds and a sofa bed. Soundproofing between rooms is limited, and street-facing rooms can be noisy due to nearby bars. Rooms at the rear tend to be quieter.

Widegate Residential does not have its own restaurant or bar. The kitchenette in each room allows basic self-catering. A wide range of restaurants, including Ottolenghi Spitalfields, Galvin La Chapelle, and Sushisamba, are within a 5-minute walk. Several pubs and bars are located on the same street.

The accommodation does not offer a pool, spa, gym, or other leisure amenities. The central location provides easy access to London's attractions, shopping, and entertainment.
