WOOD GREEN ROOMS, London

Wood Green Rooms sits on a quiet residential street within a 3-5 minute walk of Wood Green Metro Station, offering direct Piccadilly line service to central London destinations such as Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, and King's Cross. The property is 2 km from Alexandra Palace, making it a practical base for event-goers. A large shopping mall, Lidl supermarket, and multiple restaurants (including Kervan Sofrasi, Capital Restaurant, and Subway) are within a 5-minute walk. London City Airport is 17 km away. The surrounding streets are generally quiet despite the proximity to transport links and retail.

The property offers single, twin, and triple rooms spread over a terraced house, each with a shared bathroom. All rooms include a flat-screen TV with streaming services (Netflix), a wardrobe, and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, oven, kitchenware, and a washing machine. The shared bathrooms (two in the property) include a walk-in shower, bath, and hairdryer. Rooms in the main house can experience noise from other guests, while the garden room (Room 6) offers a quieter alternative. Some rooms are compact, better suited for short stays where the room serves as a base. The house uses electronic locks on each room.

There is no on-site restaurant or breakfast service, but the shared kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, oven, and cookware. A Lidl supermarket is a 1-minute walk, making self-catering straightforward. More than a dozen eateries are within a 5-minute walk, including Kervan Sofrasi (Turkish), Capital Restaurant (Chinese), Spouter's Corner (pub food), and Charlie's Cafe & Bakery. This setup works well for those who prefer flexible meal times and budget-conscious dining.

Check-in and check-out are fully contactless: access codes for the front door and room are sent via WhatsApp before arrival, eliminating the need for a reception desk. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Express check-in/out is included, and the cleaning team may offer early check-in if the room is ready. CCTV cameras cover common areas and the exterior for security. A washing machine is provided in the kitchen, with detergent supplied. There is no luggage storage or daily housekeeping beyond the cleaning schedule. The property has two shared bathrooms. Parking is not available on site; nearby multi-storey car parks are within walking distance.
