YES KAOSAN, Bangkok

This inn is positioned at the heart of the Khao San Road party area, with bars and clubs playing loud music from around 18:00 until 3:00-5:00. The location is ideal for those intending to experience Bangkok's lively nightlife, but the noise level can make sleeping difficult, especially in street-facing rooms. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of restaurants, street food, bars, currency exchanges, and laundry services. Bangkok National Museum and the Grand Palace area are within walking distance, making it a practical base for sightseeing as well. The property has no parking, so arriving by taxi or on foot is recommended.

Accommodation is functional and basic, suited primarily for short stays and budget-conscious travellers. The mattresses are firm, and the rooms can be very noisy due to the surrounding nightlife - windows offer minimal sound insulation. Private bathrooms are compact, and some rooms may have limited storage, with no wardrobes or drawers. Ground-floor units provide easier access since the building has no lift. Daily housekeeping is provided, though deep cleanliness can vary. For those prioritising budget and party access, the rooms meet expectations; for light sleepers or families, a quieter area is advisable.

The property offers paid massage treatments in various styles, making relaxation accessible without leaving the building. Live sports events are shown in the shared lounge area. For guests wanting to explore on foot, paid walking tours can be booked through the tour desk. There is no pool, spa, or fitness centre on site.

Key services include a free luggage storage facility, which is helpful for early arrivals or late departures, and lockers for securing valuables. Safety deposit boxes are available at reception. The 24-hour front desk can assist with currency exchange, tour bookings, and shuttle service (at an extra charge). The property has CCTV, 24-hour security, and key-card access. There is no lift, and the building spans 5 floors. Payments are accepted in cash with a 3% surcharge for card payments.
